Whewwwww!.............I've been traveling from Sau Paulo for 14 hours! I just laned in Alma, Arkansas. (Yes I still go back a couple times a year. Always for Christmas!) All my family is here and I am so excited to see them all. I am also excited to see my boyfriend who is coming here to be with me and meet ALL my family! I only have about 50 family members! ;) It's going to be a wonderful Christmas. It feels so good to be home! Merry Christmas everyone!

This city is very different from what I expected to see here in Brazil. It's very metropolitan. When we flying into the city all I could see were buildings for miles and miles and miles. Like New York, but times 10! There are so many tall buildings. Boss lady and management threw a "end of tour" party for us. It was nice to see people one last time and say goodbyes. They had Brazilian Dancers and a band. It was really neat. We had 3 shows here. The last show was last night. The Sticky and Sweet tour is a wrap!!! I leave Sao Paulo tonight and I am so excited to get home to my family and loved ones. I am looking SO forward to Christmas and being home. I hope you all have an amazing Christmas!

So to follow up on my time in RIO like I said I would.....
It was my favorite place that we went to on the tour. And that says a lot. I have been to so many amazing places in the past 7 months but this place made me feel something different. I saw so many things that blew my mind. The beauty that this place holds is amazing. The people are warm. I want to come back to Rio very soon.

I always wanted to come here! Its more amazing in real life than I ever imagined it to be. We are at Copacabana. The view from my room is AMAZING! I was able to put my feet in the freeeeezing cold water here, but I didn't have enough guts to jump all the way in. We have two shows here. They will be tomorrow and then on Monday. I am glad cause we will have another day off on Tuesday. I really wanna site see and play the whole tourist card! I am excited to see how the people are here. I hear that they have more passion here than anywhere else we have been. I might have to write another post just let you guys know how the rest of my trip here goes......yea I think I will! :)

I really enjoyed this Beautiful place. The weather was beautiful, but so hot! My poor skin can attest to that. I went out by the pool at our hotel yesterday and got so sun burned. I look like a lobster. I forgot how much more brutal the sun is here in south America. But it was lovely to set out and enjoy the sun. As for the rest of my experience.....
The Venue that we played at was MASSIVE. We played at the Estado National. Little did I know the history of this place. But when I walked in I was informed of the horrible things that took place there 30 sum odd years ago. Our dressing rooms were right where 3,500 people we murdered on Sept. 11, 1973 during the Soviet-American Cold War. They made sure to cover up all the bullet holes and prayers that were carved in the walls as they are there to this day. I was so upset to hear about it. You should look it up it up and read about it. We dedicated our show to the memory of all the lives lost. It was so sad to know what happened there. But then we were able to put on a show that made every person smile to big. It was amazing and a complete blessing. I was very disturbed by what had happened there, but after the show I felt blessed to have been a part of putting smiles such deserving faces.

I was able to get out today and walk around the city. It is beautiful. One of my favorite parts is how many babies and dogs I see. There are TONS of babies and dogs here! Everyone that I walk past has a baby or a dog....Or both! :)
This is my first time in South America. The people here are amazing. The passion that they posses is unlike any other I have seen. I was singing the other night and got tears in my eyes when I saw people cry and jump and yell. It just moved me in a way that I appreciate as an artist. It's so amazing to see people LOVE something so much. It lights a fire in my heart to make my own name and make an positive impact in peoples lives. That is my calling. I am so blessed to get a sneak peek at my future here on tour with Madonna.

I can't catch my breath lately. I have been going and going and going.....I have been a little slow with my posts lately. I'm sorry for that. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I was able to have Thanksgiving breakfast with my family in Miami before I had to get on a plane to Mexico City. I was in MC for about 4 days. Wasn't my most favorite place thats for sure. We played 2 shows and the crowds made the whole trip worth while. I just got off an 11 hour flight from there to Buenos Aries. I have never been to Argentina before, so I am looking forward to exploring. I will be here for a week. We have 4 shows to play here.
WOW, After this we go to Santiago!
